A famous artist enclave in Paris, the steep streets of Montmartre are lined with galleries and and artists painting plein air and selling their work. In keeping with tradition, we sat on many curbs and sketched our own images of the well worn neighborhood. This image of Montmartre comes from a watercolor in Sammia’s sketch book from the corner of 9 Rue Ravignan in Paris. Four layer woodblock print, 14”x 20" on 18"x24" white Rives BFK paper.
