Nightfall Bouquet, Monoprint

Original handmade monoprint features flowers in silhouette with a pink sunset behind. This is part of a suite of summertime by the beach prints made at MiraMar Print Lab. Petals and leaves are hand cut mylar stencils, painted and printed on rag paper repeatedly to build up the image on the paper. The background is a “rainbow roll” of ink. Image is influenced by Japanese printmaking.
