MiraMar Print Lab is an art studio focused on the art of printmaking.
Founded in 2019 by artist duo, Sammia Atoui & Adrian Rodriguez, the studio creates limited edition fine art works on paper. The sweet and salty MiraMar duo each studied printmaking, Sammia received her BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. Adrian received his BFA and Diploma Certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. They are parents to Amira and Maddox Atoui-Rodriguez, who inspired the name of the printmaking studio in coordination with the studio location on the coast of Massachusetts Bay, MiraMar: Look to the sea.
As artists, their individual styles differ dramatically; working within themes and overlapping techniques they bring together a bit of "he said - she said" to make beautiful and beastly images of familar lore and local scenes. Drawing inspiration from their home in costal New England, themes range from Marinas to Monsters and Myths. Each work of art is designed and printed by hand, one color at a time using archival inks and papers.
In addition to creating seasonal collections of art, the studio offers classes and workshops to people of all levels and experience in printmaking, drawing, and watercolor. We offer opportunities to connect with fellow art-minded individuals in a unique space with professional equipment.
